Supplies & Filters Needed

Misted tube
Deco for header and side border or use mine HERE
Simple plug in Four way average HERE
Italian editor Plug in masaico HERE


Getting Ready
Open Your Graphic of choice
Duplicate X2 (Shift D) close original
Image, Resize
Width = No more than 400
Height = No more than 400
Minimize one copy

With your Dropper Tool
Select a Dark color from your graphic for Background

All Settings remain the same unless otherwise stated

Let's Start

HEADER

1. New file 600 by 600 Pixels
Transparent

2. Edit, Copy your tube

3. Edit paste
Paste as new layer

4. Layer, new raster layer
Layers, arrange
Send to bottom

5. Flood fill with your background color

6. Adjust add/remove noise
Add nosie with following settings

7. Highlight your tube (top) layer

8. Effects, Plug ins
Italian editor effects (masaico)
With the following settings

9. Maximize your other tube copy

10. Edit copy,
Edit, paste as new layer

11. Resize this layer only 85 % or more if needed
(you want to be able to see some of the squares around your tube)

12. Layers merge,
Merge all flatten

13. Crop close to squares so theres not much plain background left

14.Edit copy

15. Edit, paste
Paste as new image
We will need this to copy thruout this tutorial, will be used in background also

16. Image, add borders
Symmetric checked
40 Pixels
Color White

17. Magic Wand
Select the border

18. Now copy the extra image we made
Edit, paste
Paste into selection

19. Selections, invert

20. Effects, 3d effects
Cutout with following settings

Repeat cutout only change V&H -2

21. Selections. Invert

22. Effects, 3d effects
Inner bevel
With the following settings

Selections, select none

23. Image, add borders
Symmetric checked
40 Pixels
Color White

24. Magic Wand
Select the border

25. If not still in browser, copy the extra image we made
Edit, paste
Paste into selection
Keep selected

26. Image Flip

27. Effects, 3d effects
Inner Bevel
Same settings
Selections, select none

28. Add your watermark

29. Find your corner deco
Colorize and resize to your preference
Edit , copy
Edit, paste as new layer

30. Using mover tool
Move to upper left corner
Add drop shadow to your liking
I added some noise to mine too at 60 to look like sparkles

31. Layers, duplicate
Image, flip
Image, mirror
If your prefer all four
Corners go for it

32. In your layer palette
Close bottom 2 layers
Highlight one of the top
Layers merge visible
Open again

33. Close top layer
Highlight bottom layer Selection tool
Custom settings below

34. Edit copy
Edit paste as new image

35. Back to header deselect,
open top layer
resize all if you like

36. File, Export, JPEG Optimizer
Compression value set to 20 or 25

BACKGROUND

1. Working with the new image we just made
Image canvas size
Width 1440 pixels
Height 300 pixels
Placement left center

2. Layers Duplicate
Image Mirror

3. Using mover tool move to left
Make sure to leave a gap between the two for your Deco 4. Layers merge visible

5. Layer, New Raster layer
Selections, select all

6. Find the graphic we saved at the beginning of lesson
Edit, Copy
Edit, paste
Paste into selection

7. Adjust, blur
with following settings

8. Effects, Plug ins
Italian filter Mosaico
with Following settings

9. Layers,arrange
Send to bottom
Select none

10. Effects, Image effects
Seamless tiling
With the settings below

11. Effects plug ins
Simple
4way average

12. Layers new layer
Flood fill with your background color
On layer palette set visibility to 75
add noise at 20

13. Find your side deco
Colorize, resize and rotate if needed

14. Paste as new layer

15. Effects, 3d effects
Drop shadow of choice

16. Highlight layer2 and add
Drop shadow of choice here also

17. File, Export, JPEG Optimizer
Compression value set to 20 or 25
